Amine Edge
AMINE EDGE discovered Electronic Music in the 90's, and used to watch music programs as Housefrau, Berlin House or Berlin Tv. He was only 10 when he started to feed a real passion for this kind of music. His first influences were House Garage and New-York House, thanks to artists like Todd Terry, the MAW, Armand Van Helden or Roger Sanchez.
Then, he started to buy his first vinyls, and purchased his first turntables.
Now that you know a little more about him, we can talk about what He did his first appearance was in 1996 at Le Cactus Café (Marseilles - France) and since then, he has been playing in the most renowned south French Clubs (Crazy, Bazar, Spartacus Club, Metal café, Vertigo etc.). In 1999, he discovered progressive house thanks to Renaissance and Global Underground, that led him to a new musical path, which still conveys his production today.
Influenced by artists such as Satoshi Tomiie, Sasha, Chab, Hernan Cattaneo, John Creamer & Stephane K, his sets testify of a sharp progressive house. Creating his own tracks and remixes, with the same everlasting and growing passion for music his only goal is to upside down the dance floor! In 2007 he signed his first single contract with the most famous underground label from Mexico "BIT Records Mexico", played and track listed by Djs like Hernan Cattaneo in Metro Dance or Rycky Ryan & Gerardo Boscarino. In 2007 he launched 2 great and recognized labels: "Home's Art Music" & "Brown Eyed Boyz Records". That includes all the talented people we have signed, Add 2 Basket, Sam Ball, Steve Mill, Neil Quigley, King Roc, Michael Cassette, Gold Ryan, Logiztik Sounds, Paul Keeley, Claes Rosen, Chloè Harris...
In addition to this, being play listed in Balance 13 Mixed by SOS (Desyn Masiello, Omid16B & Demi) is really encouraging and makes harder the way Amine wants to work, especially when he learns that his tracks are play listed by Hernan Cattaneo (Metro dance) and John Digweed (Transition).
He moved to London in October 2007 and became DJ Resident of the Art Bar, this experience was incredible and he knew that he could take a bit of that unique London vibe with him going back to France. Teaming up again with pal Sebastien Ziani under the name of "The George Brothers" they remixed the track "Summer is back" (Add2basket & Interplay), track available along side with remixes by Karran & Porter, Phunktastike, Jay Lamar, Balerik, Audionova, Electrobios, Yvel & Tristan.
As one of the most passionate musician Amine is a hard worker and knows the importance of being constantly working and renewing his sound to be able to bring something original and fresh to the world.
Amine has been remixing many artists these past few months, including Steve Mill "Abandoned Fields", Frederico Epis "She", Claes Rosen "I Want", Sam Ball "Aperture", Phunktastike & Electrobios "Glue"... Those remixes are now available on diferent EPs among others remixes by Neil Quigley, Lemon Missile, Shafunkers, En-Tropic, Logiztik Sounds, Paul Keeley, Logiztik Sounds, Bp Zulauf, Michael Cassette, Daniel Maher, Audionova.

But more important that the recognition of super talented artists, Amine highly appreciates and values public's enthusiasm and response when his track "Powerful" ranked #19 on Beatport "Top 100 downloads", 3 days only after the song was made available for the public on the famous legal music download website.
In August 2008 Kenneth Thomas and Paul Oakenfold to sign the “Eivissa” track on their label “Perfecto Black” have contacted Amine.
His Ep, CLR Rocks / Take It has been played and play listed by Gianluca Motta but also ranked 20Th on Beatport.
He created Home’s art Show on “Dance Radio” (UK) and still has one radio mix each month with important guests such as Tom Pooks, Miss Nine, Kolombo, Robert Babicz, Abyss, Cid Inc…
